The Audi A5 clashes directly with the BMW 3-Series and, for me, wins hands-down for sheer desirability. Plus you could use the back seat if you needed too; the perfect argument to win over the wife.

No one vehicle, in my opinion, has ever been able to perfectly blend form and function in one unique product. A few have come close and one of those is the Volkswagen Passat CC.

The Touareg is not inexpensive but it does wedge itself into its segment at or near the top end. Fighting the likes of the aforementioned Toyota 4Runner, Ford Explorer and Nissan Pathfinder, it also tackles the upper crust which includes the Audi Q7, the Infiniti FX, Lexus RX and BMW X5.

If these real-deal SUVs are your bag, you’ll be hard-pressed to find one as well-rounded as the 2010 Toyota 4Runner. Just make sure to delete the side steps…

The final result is a truck that is pleasant and confidence-inspiring. I am here to state that after having driven the Ram 2500 HD, the Ford F-250 and a Chevy Silverado 2500 HD, the Chevy has the best drive.

With an important predicted rise in small cars over the next few years, the Fiesta could not come at a better time or at a more appealing price point. If reliability is up to snuff, this will hands-down be the one to beat in the category.
